Light Introduces World’s First Retinal Eye-Tracking Technology to Assess Neurological Health in the Blink of An Eye C.

Light Technologies, a neurotech and AI company participating in UC Berkeley’s premier accelerator SkyDeck, is introducing the world’s first retinal eye-tracking technology paired with machine learning to assess and predict neurological health.

The technology is fast (10 seconds), non-invasive and objective.

This life-changing technology can measure the motion of the eye on a cellular scale – movements as small as roughly 1/100 the size of human hair.

The technique uses a Tracking Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope (TSLO) developed by Dr.

Christy Sheehy, founder of C.

Light, which images the retina to better understand the conditions of the brain.

C.

Light’s solution is starting with multiple sclerosis (MS) and in the future will be used to assess or diagnose Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and concussions.

We use AI paired with eye tracking to create a digital fingerprint of your neurological health, with unprecedented speed and sensitivity,” said Dr.

Zachary Helft, C.

Light Co-Founder.

“Other technologies use the pupil to track eye motion, but our technique images the retina for 120 times more sensitivity than the other tracking systems available today.

In other words, C.

Light measures eye motion that has been otherwise invisible through existing pupil tracking technologies.

” Incorta 4.

6 Platform Release Makes Cloud Data Lakes Analytics-ready Incorta, the Unified Data Analytics Platform powered by Direct Data Mapping, announced the latest version of its platform, Incorta 4.

6.

With this release, Incorta introduces new features, capabilities, and performance enhancements that double down on its commitment to bringing data engineers, data scientists, and data analysts together on a single platform.

Specifically, Incorta 4.

6—the “cloud data lake release”—enables seamless integration and support for ADLS Gen2 and AWS S3 cloud storage technologies, giving companies a powerful new way to (1) provide data constituents with ready access to data that is currently locked up in cloud data lakes, and (2) bring new data into cloud data lake storage in an open standard file format (Parquet).

With this release, Incorta also continues its tradition of introducing user experience and performance enhancements to all stages of the data workflow, from new data preview and notebook capabilities to dark mode, and parts of Incorta’s Direct Data Mapping engine now running up to 30 times faster.

“Today’s CIOs are in a race against the clock.

The amount of data flowing into organizations is growing exponentially, and so is the demand for access to it.

Trying to get ahead of the backlog with incremental improvements on existing approaches and technologies alone is a futile task.

It’s like trying to supply water to New York City with a garden hose—you’ll just keep falling further and further behind every day,” said Matthew Halliday, co-founder and VP of Product at Incorta.

“What’s needed is a fundamentally new approach—and that’s exactly why companies like Northern Trust, Shutterfly, Broadcom, and others rely on Incorta’s Unified Data Analytics Platform.

” Obviously AI Rolls Out First Natural Language-Powered Machine Learning Platform for Predicting Outcomes from Any Data Data at organizations can be incredibly siloed, difficult to access, and overwhelming for thousands of business users across the globe.

From finding a list of items in a haystack of data, to running complex predictive analytics, business users often have to wait for weeks for data engineers to get a single question answered.

With the public launch of Obviously AI, a no-code platform designed to put the power of machine  learning and analytics in the hands of non-technical business users, this solution can enable anyone to access crucial information and data predictions, simply by asking questions in natural language.

Obviously AI’s no-code tool is extremely easy to use with results on any query returned in under a minute.

Users simply upload their data set from CSV, databases or CRMs and then get a Google-like search bar to ask a question in natural language.

For predictive questions, such as “Which customers are likely to cancel their subscriptions?” the platform will understand what the user is asking, find the right data, and build a machine learning algorithm on the fly.

It also shows you exactly what factors drove your results, so you don’t have to guess how it got them.

Similarly, the platform can answer analytical questions that look for existing patterns in data, such as “What is the average daily foot traffic for my retail stores?” Users do not need any familiarity with writing complex SQL queries or working with programming languages to code regressions, neural networks and other ML algorithms.

“We realized that business users truly cared about getting decision making insights about their customers, products and its usage.

This often meant writing frustrating SQL queries and waiting on web engineers who would try to figure out machine learning algorithms,” said Nirman Dave, Co-founder and CEO, Obviously AI.

“That’s why we have been on a mission to make data science effortless just by asking questions.

It’s amazing what marketers, salespeople and other non-technical business users can learn when they use our platform.

Laserfiche workflow bots offer a no-code solution to automating repeatable clicks and data entry actions across applications, key for organizations looking to build more complete, end-to-end solutions.

“Businesses and employees alike want their time back from monotonous tasks to be more productive, more effective and more innovative,” said Karl Chan, president and chief technology officer at Laserfiche.

“We’re excited to introduce RPA capabilities to the Laserfiche platform to supplement human employees’ capabilities and open up new opportunities for efficiency and innovation, giving our customers a competitive edge.

”  Figure Eight Workflows Streamlines Multi-Step Automation for High-Quality AI Training Data Figure Eight, an Appen company, announced Workflows, a new feature that automates the creation of complex data annotation jobs at scale.

Workflows makes it possible for non-technical users to create granular, plug-and-play, multi-step annotation projects, removing bottlenecks and lowering the cost of data annotation across the board.

Workflows makes it easier to break down complex annotation jobs into simpler jobs and connect them dynamically.

“Overly complex data-annotation jobs increase the cognitive load on the global crowd tasked with labeling vast quantities of training data,” said Wilson Pang, CTO, Appen.

“To help create high-quality machine learning data more effectively, we’ve developed technology that streamlines the annotation process.

Workflows easily connects multiple, more specific jobs within large annotation projects to optimize the process for quality and improve the experience for both AI experts and the annotation crowd.

By creating more granular annotation jobs, Workflows also delivers high-quality results faster, leading to fewer wasted resources and reduced costs when compared to large, complex annotation jobs.
